After lots and lots of polishing, I finally decided enough was enough. Not what I envisioned, but close enough.

Here’s where I got some of this stuff:

Citrus Honey Wheat Bottling Day

Author: dwhaley  //  Category: All Grain, Dean

This beer came out of the secondary extremely clear. Almost disappointing as wheat beers are usually cloudy, but what are ya gonna do. Non carb’d taste is pretty bitter, body and color are very light, nice citrus aroma but not much citrus in the flavor yet. Everything always changes with conditioning, so we’ll see.

Notes

I ordered 6 pounds of white wheat from Austin Home Brew. They ground it even though I didn’t request it. I don’t think they did all that great of a job so I got a somewhat low brewhouse efficiency. Shouldn’t be a problem though.

Keggle Top Cut Out

I made a rig to cut a nice, round circle in the top of my keg-kettle conversion project. $12 in parts from Lowes. I already had the angle grinder.
